Recurring Events

Below is a list of ongoing and recurring events that currently take place at our church:

  • Worship Service — Saturdays at 11 a.m.

Our main time of gathering together to communally worship God in songs, praise, and resources; to study His word; to share our stories; and to fellowship with other believers.

  Jim Higgins

Title of Sermon:  Who Is Your King?

Sermon Summary:

Upcoming Weeks:

April 27–Wes Harrison

May 4–Pastor Baker

May 11–Basil Oilar

  • Sabbath School — Saturdays at 9:30 a.m.

Before the main worship service begins, we have our traditional time of learning and sharing together in medium sized groups. Everybody is welcome to join in this time of Bible study and discussion!

Each week we meet in the sanctuary for a few songs and announcements before breaking up into classes at 9:45 am.

There are two adult Sabbath School classes to choose from to fit your needs and preferences:

If you have kids, we have a Youth and Junior Sabbath School too. Your kids will have fun making friends, crafts, and doing various activities all while learning about the love of Jesus.

  • Fellowship Dinner — Saturdays after the Worship Service

Each Sabbath after the worship service concludes, we have a time for warm  discussion while dining together. We believe that joining together over food is a great way to connect with each other and with God.

Each week, we have a host/hostess coordinating the meals with a number of volunteers. You will always find more than enough to eat with both tasty and healthy food. We are always happy to receive help through volunteering, making something to share, or donating to keep this ministry alive. We hope you will come and dine with us too!

Potluck Schedule:

The first Sabbath of every month is haystacks and all other Sabbaths are general potlucks. Please coordinate with Basil Oilar for what to bring to share. You can reach Basil at (707) 832-2974.

  • Bible Study on Zoom — Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

    Zoom ID# 872 1275 3743

    Passcode 488609

Feel free to join us as we begin to dig into the Book of Galatians and The Great Controversy! Everyone is welcome.

You are invited to attend a weekly bible study with Dr. Jim Higgins and a number of others from around California.  Our typical approach is to simply take turns reading several verses each and then discuss the meaning of what we read.  It is a fun opportunity to learn about history and the foundations of the Christian church.  While some of us generally start at 6:30 just to talk and catch up on the week, feel free to join at 7:00 if you would rather just jump into the study.

I hope you can join us!

  • Prayer Meeting — Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.

Everyone is invited to join this weekly prayer meeting in the Eureka Church Fireside Room! This is a dedicated time to learn to pray together. Great things can happen when God's people come together in prayer as shown throughout the Book of Acts and the rest of the Bible. For more inspiration, see Pastor Matthew's sermon on Powerful Principles of Prayer.

Pastor Matthew Baker will be leading out when he is able.

  • Inspired Women — Fridays at 6:00 p.m.

This women's Bible Study takes place at Juanita Baker's house in Bayside about twice a month. Contact Juanita Baker if interested: (707) 601-7618

Does not meet on the 3rd Friday of the month and when the pastor is at Orleans.

The next Inspired Women meeting will be
