Below is a list of ongoing and recurring events that currently take place at our church:
Worship Service — Saturdays at 11 a.m.
Our main time of gathering together to communally worship God in songs, praise, and resources; to study His word; to share our stories; and to fellowship with other believers.
Speaker this Sabbath, 5-21-22: Pastor Matthew Baker
Title of Sermon:
Sabbath School — Saturdays at 9:30 a.m.
Before the main worship service begins, we have our traditional time of learning and sharing together in medium sized groups.
Everybody is welcome to join in this time of Bible study and discussion! There are three adult Sabbath School classes to choose from to fit your needs and preferences:
An online Zoom class hosted by Jim Higgins, looking into the SDA lesson study
Zoom ID# 814 2334 2698
The Ambassadors with Flynn Ringwald in the Fireside Room at the back of the church
Light Bearers in the back of the sanctuary hosted by Basil Oilar, also focusing on the lesson study.
If you have kids, we have a Junior Sabbath School too. Your kids will have fun making friends, crafts, and doing various activities all while learning about the love of Jesus.
Fellowship Dinner — Saturdays after the Worship Service
Each Sabbath after the worship service concludes, we have a time for warm discussion while dining together. We believe that joining together over food is a great way to connect with each other and with God.
Each week, we have a host/hostess coordinating the meals with a number of volunteers. You will always find more than enough to eat with both tasty and healthy foods. We are always happy to receive help through volunteering, making something to share, or donating to keep this ministry alive. We hope you will come and dine with us too!
Bible Study on Zoom — Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
Zoom ID# 872 1275 3743
Feel free to join us as we begin to dig into the Book of Acts! Everyone is welcome. Time of sharing praises, reading scriptures and learning how to pray together.
You are invited to attend a weekly bible study with Dr. Jim Higgins and a number of others from around California. We are currently working our way through the Book of Acts in the New Testament. Our typical approach is to simply take turns reading several verses each and then discuss the meaning of what we read. It is a fun opportunity to learn about history and the foundations of the Christian church. While some of us generally start at 6:30 just to talk and catch up on the week, feel free to join at 7:00 if you would rather just jump into the study.
I hope you can join us!
